Family Photos

Hello! Family pictures tomorrow at 9:55am at Old Main Hill. Julie has green/white shirts for everyone to wear. Wear whatever bottoms you want (jeans, khakis, whatev). We have a professional photog doing the pics, so we want to be on time. And it should be quick and painless. Four poses. That's it. See you bright and early!

From Katie -- One More Thing

Hey everyone,

We wanted to add one more thing to the growing list of options to do next week (assuming it's OK with Julie). We were going to have a very small, no fuss birthday party for Miles probably on Thursday morning (10ish). It will be really simple, consisting mainly of some non-nutritious treats and a few small activities. We know that dads will be at work but thought this would be the least disruptive day/time to other plans that might be developing. It should only last about an hour or so. If you need to be doing other things and want to drop off your kids, feel free, as long as they are potty trained. Do not feel pressured to come; we know there are a lot of major changes going on in everyone's lives right now requiring extra time commitments.

Please don't bring presents.

Can't wait to see you all in a few days!

Katie

Julie's Thoughts

** Random photo courtesy of Becca. ;)

Needing input on the following:

1. I have planned for room for all out of towners to stay at my house, at least for the first few nights. ((Side note: Julie would really LIKE you to stay at her place at least for a while if it works. It'd be fun for her, and hopefully you as well.))

2. JoDee says we can use her cabin for a baby/anyone nap or sleepover that week, but she would like to know what days/nights.

3. For pictures, I have various shades of green shirts for all except moms. You can wear your favorite white tee shirt or use the one Mindy and I picked out for you. I do have shirts for all. Bonnie and Katie, bring green or white that fits you. Tee shirts I bought are all Old Navy according to sizes you gave me.

 4. Can others join you for temple square or water park, Richelle?

5. Three days is not enough, but hopefully some can hang around longer. Can we plan the week on Monday morning first thing so we know what a basic schedule could be?

6. Some ideas for activities:
- S'mores in my yard
- Grandma time with older kids for a couple of hours. I have some crafts and fun stuff to play in yard. (Miles and Elli may or may not be fully interested, they can come and go.
- Ice skating.
- Day at the beach
- Pictures, Need Jon and Mindy to bring cameras with remotes.
- Bring your temple recommends

7. Can we plan meals as we go, taking turns being in charge?

8. Another activity: Talent Show. Remind your kids to practice whatever talent for a fun sharing time. Adults are welcome to share too. Kids would like to know stuff you can do too.

Please share your thoughts. Thanks! ❤️

Dates

Tell me, again, what dates we'll all be here? I think I ought to calendar them. We all probably should.

And regarding dates, when would we go to Bear Lake? Over a weekend? During the week?

AND - what other things do we want planned??

Julie had mentioned getting family pictures taken (which spoiled Bonnie's idea of a surprise photo shoot as a gift to you, Julie -- just so you know who's the sweetest daughter-in-law). :) When will the photo shoot be? Will we need to wear coordinating clothes or anything? What do we know about this? Julie?

So. Dates and further ideas... Go! :)

This is going to be fun. I'm excited about our plans this far. Keep 'em comin!

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

A day at Bear Lake: Yea or Nay?

And if a cabin were available, would you wanna do a sleepover?

Also: what day?

PS. I think it's the north shore (??) that doesn't get deep for a long while out and is perfect and not stressful for ppl with little ones. I vote we go there. :)
